Terms of use

Version 1.0 · 3 November 2026

In case of differences, the Italian version prevails. Read the Italian version

This website is an intermediation service: it brings together people looking for a bike and bike shops in Ticino. The operator does not sell, rent or repair anything and gives no warranty. These terms apply to customers using the site to arrange an appointment, a purchase or a rental.

1. Operator and role of the website

The website is run privately by the person named in the imprint. It publishes the listings uploaded by partner shops and lets you book an appointment with them.

The operator is not a party to the purchase or rental contract and is not involved in payment, which happens entirely in the shop.

2. How the contract is formed

Listings are not binding offers: they are an invitation to book an appointment.

A booking reserves an appointment, not the bike itself and not the price. The contract is concluded in the shop, between you and the shop.

3. Availability

Availability is not guaranteed: a bike may already be sold, reserved or rented out, including after your booking. In that case the appointment lapses and you are informed as soon as possible.

No claim for damages against the operator arises from this.

4. Descriptions, photos and prices

Descriptions, specifications, condition, photos and prices are provided by the shops. The operator does not verify them individually and does not warrant their accuracy.

Images marked «catalogue photo» show the model, not the actual bike. Please inspect the bike in the shop before buying.

Prices and totals shown on the site are indicative; what the shop confirms prevails.

5. The shop's responsibility

The selling or renting shop is solely responsible for the condition and safety of the bike, defects, warranty, repairs, accessories, services and handover.

It is also responsible for the provenance of the bike and for its right to sell or rent it, including where a bike turns out to be stolen or encumbered by third-party rights.

6. Benefit code

With your booking you receive a personal code, valid once, for the booked bike and until the stated expiry date. The benefit is granted by the shop and becomes active once the code is confirmed in the shop.

7. Rentals

Duration, deposit, documents required, liability for damage or theft and insurance are set by the renting shop and agreed with it at pick-up. Amounts shown on the site are indicative.

8. Automated assistant and text search

The assistant's answers are generated automatically, are indicative and may contain errors. They are not technical, medical, legal or insurance advice. The bike page and the shop prevail.

Do not enter personal data there.

9. Proper use and cancellation

The site is for genuine bookings with genuine details. Unauthorised automated use, fake or repeated no-show bookings and attempts to circumvent technical limits are prohibited.

If you cannot attend, please cancel using the link in your confirmation email.

10. The operator's liability

The operator provides the site with due care but does not warrant that it is always available, error-free or complete, nor the outcome of your dealings with shops.

To the extent permitted by Swiss law, the operator's liability for damage arising from use of the site, from information published by shops, from unavailability or from interruption of service is excluded.

Liability for intent and gross negligence, for damage to life, body and health, and any other liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, remains unaffected.

11. Personal data

Data processing is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. Booking data is passed to the shop you choose.

12. Changes

These terms may be amended. The version that applies is the one accepted at the time of booking, shown above with its version number and date.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the Vienna Sales Convention. The place of jurisdiction is Lugano, subject to mandatory places of jurisdiction, in particular those protecting consumers.
